Bohag Bihu, Baisakhi and Vishu celebrations

A special assembly to celebrate Bohag Bihu, Baisakhi and Vishu was held in the school on 12th April 2023. The assembly commenced with felicitating Principal Mrs Firdausi Sultana Hazarika with a Gamusa and a bouquet seeking her blessings. It was followed by a cultural programme with Bihu songs and dances by students of all the four houses decked up in traditional attires and the beats of Dhol, Pepa, Gogona reverberating in the entire school. A sprightly dance performance by the students on Punjabi Song in colourful attires spruced up the occasion. The celebration culminated with Principal Mrs Firdausi Sultana Hazarika’s speech on the significance of festivals in our lives and complimenting the students for a splendid show.
