Hands-on Training On Microscopy

On 25th April 2023, fourteen students of classes VIII-XII attended a one day Hands-on Training on Microscopy at Guwahati Biotech Park . The aim of the workshop was to give an introduction to the principles, techniques and applications of Microscopy in various fields of science. It was an enriching experience for students as they learnt how to handle compound microscopes , preparing slide by wet mount method , preparation of bacterial smear by gram straining method etc.
