On September 12, 2023, a comprehensive Fire Safety and Terrorist Safety Drill was conducted at the school under the supervision of Captain Sachin Vashisth and his expert team. The drill aimed to educate students, teachers, and staff on fire prevention, response procedures, and preparedness for potential terrorist attacks. Captain Sachin Vashisth initiated the event with a detailed explanation of fire safety measures covering the following key aspects: Classification of Fires Class A: Fires involving ordinary combustibles like wood, paper, and cloth. Class B: Fires fueled by flammable liquids or gases. Class C: Fires resulting from electrical equipment. Class D: Fires caused by combustible metals. Control and Prevention Captain Sachin and his team demonstrated various methods to control different types of fires. Emphasis was placed on the importance of fire extinguishers and their correct usage. Evacuation procedures for safe escape during a fire were explained. Proper Use of Firefighting Devices: Practical demonstrations showcased the proper handling and use of fire extinguishers.Students and staff were encouraged to practice using these devices.
